The hubby and I give Wicker Park (PG-13) a B-. We had no idea what the movie was about when we got it from Block Buster via the mail. The case didn't have a synopsis so we just dove in cold. The movie was at times confusing with all the back and forth through time but have faith - it all makes sense in the end. Drama, suspense, comedy - it's got it all and most importantly, the hubby stayed awake through the whole thing. The actors in the movie are virtually unknown to me except for Matthew Lillard (Shaggy from Scooby-Doo and Without a paddle) and Diane Kruger (Troy & National Treasure).
Matthew brings in the comedy aspect of the movie with his typical doofy-ness. As for Diane, I never would have known she was the same actress that played in the already mentioned movies. I guess that says something for make-up artists. Josh Hartnett (the main guy) isn't too hard to look at but I found that his eyebrows growing down to his nose a bit distracting at times. I mean, you're making a movie, get a quick wax dude.
