I though Sherman Hemsley was dead.  I'm glad to hear that he's not but I could have sworn he was.  Is he one of those people that often get mistaken for dead or something?  I know Weezy passed away and the strange English guy whose name escapes me.  Sad to hear he's sunk to being on the Surreal Life. I really can't believe Florence Henderson is on a show like that.  I guess  I have higher standards for her seeing as she's Mrs. Brady and all.

Dana Reeves' passing

I can't believe that I'm just hearing about Dana Reeves dying two days later.  I would have thought to have heard about it sooner.  If it weren't for Yahoo's home page I probably still wouldn't know.  It's such a shame.  I don't think I've seen a stronger person.  Makes you wonder what the master plan was behind all of her doting years and then for herself to get a fatal disease?

Oscar Night 2006

This is a great play by play of the evening.  Personally, I thought the Oscars were pretty good.  I normally get bored (especially the musical numbers - good God how awful they usually are!) but I stayed awake through the whole thing.  Considering it didn't finish airing here unitl 11:30 - that's saying something.  I also like the fact that there wasn't a clear sweep - how boring those shows are - Lord of the Rings anyone?  Reese was adorable - I didn't see the movie but she's done a lot of movies and she's been good in all of them.  Jaquine (spelling?) wasn't too happy but I'm sure he's got some meds somewhere to fix that.  Oooo - did I say that out loud?

Spiderman's new suit

I'm glad Spider Man finally got a suit that doesn't look queer.  Red and blue may have been okay in the 50's but it's time to modernize.  Plus it's hard to take a guy serious wearing that outfit.
